Welcome to the Wins Wall! 🎉

Welcome to the Wins Wall! 🎉

Living with a disability, or loving someone who does, can come with a lot of hard days, big feelings, confusing systems, paperwork piles, and moments where you wonder if coffee should legally be considered a food group.

But it is not all hard. There are also wins.

Tiny wins. Huge wins. Funny wins. Emotional wins. "We finally got through the appointment" wins. "They tried a new food" wins. "I made the phone call I was avoiding" wins.

And those wins deserve to be celebrated.

So please share your wins with us!

Big or small, loud or quiet, messy or magical — we want to hear them.

Use the tag #celebratethewin so even if you post your win in another discussion, people can easily find the good stuff, scroll through it anytime, and get a little boost when they need it.

Let's lift each other's spirits together.

Now tell us — what is your win today? 💛

My boy has learned to ride a bike!! He’s 10, level 3 autism. My husband rigged up a tricycle that was donated by an amazing family friend and it’s taken a while but he’s figured out how to pedal and steer!!! Braking is still a work in progress though…kind of scary actually, please pray for me lol

I love this idea!!!

For me it’s our morning routine. My 8 year old daughter has Down Syndrome. Every morning is a battle to brush hair and brush teeth. There’s days I’ve had to send her to school or her dayhome with messy hair because I just can’t. Working full time while getting everyone out the door with all their stuff and mine is tough. The last 5 mornings though something has shifted. She’s actually not fighting me as much (some grumbling is still involved lol). She’ll let me brush her teeth and hair and she’s even trying to do it herself. Might seem little but to me it’s huge!! Fighting in the morning doesn’t set the best tone for the day so this has been really nice! Now fingers crossed it lasts 🤞
